General Guidelines

  • Presenter/ Presenters must be a registered delegate for 76th Indian National Conference 2026.
  • Abstract should be original and should not be published or presented anywhere in the past.
  • Student category: Undergraduates from I BDS to IV BDS, as well as interns, can present posters, papers, or both.
  • Post graduate delegate category: can present posters, papers, or both.
  • Delegate Category: Faculty and Practitioners are eligible to present papers, posters, or both.
  • Abstracts received which are not following submission guidelines and received after the deadline will not be considered unless the deadline is extended.
  • After the abstract submittal, you will be sent an automatic e-mail confirming your successful submission.
  • E-mail will also be used to confirm acceptance/rejection. If you do not receive the confirmation e-mail, please contact the scientific committee through email
  • Each session will have a 'Best Presentation Award' in the respective category of paper or poster presentation.
  • The abstract for paper and poster needs to be submitted as per the abstract submission template provided below.
  • Name of the college and guide’s name should not be revealed in the presentation.
  • One registered delegate can participate only in one scientific presentation.

STUDENT CATEGORY : PAPER/POSTER

Abstract Template

  • Abstract Title: Each word should begin with a capital letter except transition words; Title should not be longer than 20 words.
  • Abstract Body: Paragraphs should be justified (straight edged) on both left and right. Use single-line spacing.
  • Structured Abstract for Original Research:
    Background/ Purpose.
    Objective.
    Methods: Methods, Materials and Analytical procedure.
    Results: Summary of the results in sufficient detail [ “Results will be discussed”– Not recommended].
    Conclusion - The total number of words for abstract – 250 Words not including title, or section headings.
  • Structured Abstract for Clinical/Case Reports/Case Series/Innovation/Review Paper:
    Introduction: Background of the disease or condition
    Clinical Case [Key points- Clinical Findings, Diagnostic evaluation, treatment and Follow-Up]..
    Conclusion: Conclusion and Clinical Implications
    The total number of words for abstract – 150 Words Not including title, or section headings.
  • Please note that incomplete abstracts will not be accepted

Rules for Paper Presentation

  • Language – English
  • Maximum 2 authors are allowed for each Scientific Paper.
  • Either both the authors can present or only one author can present.
  • Certificate will be issued for both the authors.
  • Presentation should be on Microsoft PowerPoint 2007 or a newer version.
  • Title of Presentation in Arial/Times New Roman font: Size 14 point.
  • Body of the Abstract use Times New Roman/Arial Font size 12 point.
  • Paragraphs should be justified (Straight – Edged) on both left and right.
  • Use single line spacing.
  • Presenter/ Presenters should strictly adhere to the allotted time and not to exceed the allotted time.
  • Maximum time duration:
    Student Paper: 05 + 02 minutes (Presentation + Q & A).

Rules for E-Poster Presentation

  • Maximum 5 students per team are allowed.
  • Poster will be displayed in a common area of the venue on all the days of the conference.
  • Time will be allotted for judging of the posters.
  • At least one participant should be present at the time of judging.
  • Poster to be submitted as one slide in PowerPoint format.
  • Presentation me will be 3 minutes and 1 minute for discussion.
  • Kindly download the template for E-poster presentation.

Rules for Quiz

  • Only one team from each college.
  • A maximum of four UGs per team is allowed.
  • The Quiz competition will include all subjects including basic science.
  • There will be a preliminary round, followed by the final round consisting of 6 teams.
  • Preliminary round will be conducted online and details will be shared to respective teams at appropriate times
  • The Quiz Master’s decision will be final.
